After several trips, today was a day of busy work at home. The wind had loosened the pool cover, so it had to be tightened back down. The hot tub is almost drained for the winter. Hay has been ordered and the storage shed cleaned out of last year's old hay and straw. I'm actually looking forward to having some stay at home time this winter.
There's a full moon with an eclipse coming on October 28. Not sure what kind of spell work I'll do that night, but it seems like the perfect time for a manifestation type of spell. I unwrapped all the books I got in Salem and can't wait to delve in. Especially the one on Celtic witchcraft. I finally got all my books and trinkets from my travels unpacked and put in their proper place. And the piece of driftwood with the Spanish moss looks really good on top of the bookshelves.
Today, I welcomed a new member to the household. Her name is Ruby and she's a 6 month old Frenchie. Kate is being her usual nurturing self and watching her like a hawk. Between Ruby and the new kitten, she is in full mothering mode this evening. I ordered both dogs new collars. Kate is getting a light blue one with her name in clear rhinestones and crown charms while Ruby is getting a purple one with her name in rhinestones and a heart charm. Yes...they are on their way to being a spoiled pair of diva dogs.
Not a whole lot else to chat about tonight...if you are interested in learning a bit about Samhain the holiday...on my Walking With Spirit page there is a post with a few interesting tidbits.
Have a good week everyone!
