It's Been Such a Long Time...

Now I'm hearing the tune in my head...seriously, though, I haven't posted for quite a while because I have been so busy with the bookstore, writing, planning the garden, spring cleaning and spending time with two of my brothers and my beautiful sisters in law in Arizona. Now, I'm back in Indiana and sort of missing the 85-degree sunshine and the flowers that are in full bloom out there.
Nobody told me I'd be busier in retirement than I was while working full time. The difference is that I'm doing the things that I truly love and feed my soul. And that is what life is all about, right?
First thing tomorrow, I am putting myself on a schedule. With my upcoming trip to New Orleans in May, I really would like to be able to fit in some cute summer clothes. I'm going to take advantage of that Silver Fit membership and go to the swimming pool every weekday morning as soon as I feed the dogs and myself. Then, I'm going to go back home and do my household chores then sit down and write until noon. After lunch, I'm going to work on some projects around the house or crafting some items for our upcoming pop-up market. And, of course, I need to get started on the spring planting. Indoors of course. I also need to fit in time to get my records ready for the accountant to do my taxes. All of the above are enjoyable...except the tax thing. Yuck.
Yesterday, at the bookstore, we sponsored our second author meet up then I partnered up with two very knowledgeable gentlemen writers to do a presentation on Celtic Folklore. If you would like to learn more about the women in Celtic Folklore, you will be able to find a nice presentation over on my other web page www.greenwitchmedium.com
Today, I am hanging out with my wonderful friend who owns Enchanting Garden in Marion, Indiana. She is doing her grand reopening event, and I am doing card readings until 6:00 pm with part of the proceeds going to the local animal shelter. If you are in Indiana and looking for a spiritual healing shop filled with some magnificent energy, you can find her at 227 South Baldwin Avenue, Marion, IN 46952. Her shop offers reiki sessions, energetic massage sessions, tarot card readings and yours truly with clairvoyant/oracle card readings. There are also lovely macrame pieces, plants, essential oils, artwork, jewelry, crystals and more.
Don't forget about our bookstore, either. If you are within driving distance of Marion, IN we are located at 428 South Washington Street Suite 101, Marion, IN 46953. Our soft opening hours are Thursday and Friday 12-6 and Saturday 10-6. We have an amazing grand opening event scheduled on April 25th from 10-3 and will be launching our anthology that day. We are also going to be doing a "roving bookstore" where we will be taking our books and authors on the road. So, be sure to follow our Facebook page for Bookworm Orchard and our website at bookwormorchard.com to see if we are going to be at a town near you!
Work on Reprisal is coming right along as scheduled, then I will start back to work on Uncommon Heather and get busy with Imbolc which is Book 3 of Wheel of the Witch. And don't forget, my first venture into non-fiction with my book on clairvoyance.
Well folks, I'm going to sign out for now. Hopefully, all is well in your world, and you are getting some valuable "you time" on your schedule! Many blessings!!
