We got hit with our first substantial snow yesterday here in Indiana. It snowed almost all day yesterday then the wind hit us last night. None of the farm animals were out this morning, and even the yard rooster was tucked away in the calf hut outside my bedroom window where he didn't miss his morning crowing. Today, we kick off the holiday season with Thanksgiving. A time to give thanks for family, friends, pets, and life in general. But don't forget all the little things that make life worth living. I have no idea why we even do this! All it meant for me this morning was that Kate the Drama Hound woke me up begging for food at 2:00 am instead of 3:00 am.
