Just Checking In!
I guess I dropped the ball this month! No newsletter and no blog post last week...I truly thought I had done both!
Let's see...what has been going on in my world? Well, I've gotten the pool closed for winter, the shed cleaned and organized with the inside clutter now having a spot to hide. The hot tub is drained and ready to close after it gets a good cleaning and the gaskets get replaced. While I was in Wisconsin for my annual autumn writer's retreat with my author friends, my daughter got the canvas shed repaired and additional boxes stored away. We have collectively decorated the front porch for Samhain/Halloween with a skeleton and puking pumpkins, and a witch crushed against the front door. We toned it down from last year mostly because I had just organized the shed and the rest of the stuff was under the Christmas decoration tubs.
I released my non-fiction book, I'm Not Crazy...I'm Clairvoyant and miscalculated my needs and didn't order enough copies. Of course, Amazon is running 3-4 weeks out on author orders, so I only have two left right now. However, I am taking orders for signed copies if you are interested. Just send me an email at teresa.keefer.author@hotmail.com that includes your name (or recipient name if it is for a gift), address and email address so that I can invoice you. They will be here in time for holiday gifting.
Our author group also released Mysteries of the Mississinewa last Saturday and it was aa very successful release. It is now available for purchase on Amazon for $29.99 and here is the link to purchase Mysteries of the Mississinewa: An Anthology: Keefer, Teresa, Freeman, Bob, Miller, Jessica, Gerstorff, Kathy, Brewer, Johnson, Layne, Amethyst, Richerson, Sheri Ann, Kindley, Amanda, McWhirt, Chris, Stepler, Derek: 9798171072674: Amazon.com: Books. Signed copies are available at the shop for $25 if you are in the Marion, Indiana area.
My little retreat to the Wisconsin Dells was much needed as I move toward our Halloween event at the shop next Saturday and several other events as the holidays approach. We had a nice couple days exploring the Timbavati Wildlife Park where I got to pet a wallaby and a kangaroo as well as feed a giraffe. Then we took a boat tour to visit Witch's Gulch. The last day we were there we had lunch at the lake and visited Ski Hi Winery/Farm where I picked up some fantastic hard cider and some jelly for my daughter. Our final night we took the Aquavia Lumina walk which was by our resort and that was absolutely amazing. While there, I got some work done on Imbolc and started reading Whispers of the Pale Witch which I will review in my newsletter for November. If you aren't already subscribed, drop me an email at teresa.keefer.author@hotmail.com and I will add you to my mailing list.
Well, I think I will grab a bite for lunch and get back to work on Imbolc. Talk to you all next week...if I don't forget!!
