It's Fall Y'all!

And it's time to get back to my regular schedule of posting on Friday so I can quit confusing myself and everyone else. Tomorrow is the Harvest Full Moon, and I have a post up on s of my Green Witch Medium page about full moon rituals if you are interested. That website is www.greenwitchmedium.com

I just absolutely love it when I start seeing the tops of the trees starting to turn colors. If it's true that the more rain and moisture there is, the brighter and more vibrant the colors is true, then we should have some magnificent foliage here in Indiana. I hope that's the reward for all those downpours we've gotten the last couple of months!

I know that with the falling leaves, not too far behind will be the white stuff and frigid temperatures, but I wouldn't trade having four distinct seasons for 12 months of sunshine for anything. I love my seasons...all four of them...but I like fall the best!

It's about time to drag out the Halloween decorations. I think I might do that this weekend. Then I'll get the bookstore spruced up for spooky season next week sometime. I really wish I had time to make up some of these Victorian Halloween decorations I saw on social media where they took plastic pumpkins and papier mache and created some really cool Victorian decorations. I have a soft spot for primitive and Victorian ornaments, cards and such.

Speaking of Victorian era...has anyone watched the Monster series about Lizzie Bordon? I'm not all the way through, but whoever wrote this was full of creative madness I do believe! I have heard the last 3 episodes are even more filled with madness. We shall see this weekend. Of course, I will want to get caught up on Blood of my Blood Season 2 which I have not started watching yet and there are a couple of movies that are out as well. And this, my friends, is why I don't get as much writing done as I would like. Perhaps I need to run off to a secluded cabin on the Isle of Lewis without any sort of television for about a month? Sounds perfect!

I'm sitting here at the bookstore waiting for the mini bakery next door to open. I have a hankering for whatever treat she may have baked for today. Will it be her creme brulee? Cheesecake? Cookies? Pretzel bites? We shall see what she has when she arrives. I'm watching for her!
