It's cold. It's windy. It rained this morning, and it's supposed to snow later this afternoon all the way through tomorrow evening. I have a cat curled up beside me and a dog between my shins, so at least I'm keeping warm. There's a roast in the slow cooker and I just took a berry cobbler out of the oven. With candles burning in the dining room and living room. This all makes for a good day to just cuddle up and write. Which I'm going to do as soon as I finish up this blog post.
Is everyone doing the holiday countdown? I know I am. Ready for Thanksgiving Day because the day after is my traditional day for putting up the Christmas decorations. And this year...I'm going to go get them all out of storage and make our house look like something from the North Pole!
Speaking of Christmas...keep an eye out on my Facebook page and my TikTok because I'm going to be raffling off a couple of reader gift boxes with a couple of books and a lot of goodies to go along with them. A chance for you to get the reader on your list the perfect holiday gift.
There's another exciting sale coming down the pipes. On Black Friday, Romance Book Blast is having a 99-cent sale starting on November 28th. Watch my website, my Facebook page, TikTok and if you are a newsletter subscriber, you will also get a link through there. Keep your eyes open...I'm sure there will be a lot of fantastic books up for grabs!!
So, last night I binge-watched Sheriff Country and it was a pretty darn good series. I hope it continues beyond the last episode I watched last night. Today, I've started Talamasca. Who can go wrong with something out of Anne Rice's mind and talent? I'll report back after I've watched the series.
I've started a fifth work in process. This one is a non-fiction titled I'm Not Crazy...I'm Clairvoyant. I'm pretty excited about it! Of course, I'm working on the other four as well. Hopefully at least one will be released before the end of the year...and hopefully by the end of the month. We shall cross our fingers and hope!
Next Saturday afternoon, I will be with several of my fellow local authors at the Marion Public Library in Marion, IN from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. If you are in the area, please stop by and say hey. We will have all sorts of genres! The following Saturday, my daughter and I will be at Enchanting Garden in Marion, IN and we will have a little bit of everything at our booth. Maybe even some fresh baked goods!
Well, I want to get absorbed in this show so I'm going to run along for now. Have a wonderful week!!
