Greetings from St. Augustine!

It's our last night in St. Augustine and we are taking it easy in the AirBnB after a busy day of sightseeing around the city. The bags are almost packed for the return trip and our flight leaves Orlando at 11:30 am tomorrow morning.

TropiCon24 was an amazing event with some valuable author presentations and a two-day book signing which brought readers out in droves. It was a long day for this author yesterday, but i still managed to go visit the lighthouse, have dinner, then hop on the Ghosts and Gravestones tour which took us to several haunted locations around the oldest city in the USA.

Today was a full day of sightseeing where we hopped on the trolley and taken throughout the city. We took a walk through the old portion of the city and checked out the shops, had lunch, then went to the Castillo de San Marcos historical site and watched the 'soldiers' set off a cannon ball from the roof of the fort.

There is so much history in this town, and I'm trying to think how I might be able to incorporate it into one of my upcoming Wheel of the Witch series. It may not fit, but that doesn't mean I can't write a different paranormal story set in this town.

Even though I really love to travel to new places, I am always ready to head home and sleep in my own bed and snuggle with Kate and Ruby. There's no place like home, right?

The next few weeks are going to be really busy for me. I've got the workshop I'm teaching on March 2nd about Spirit Guides, and an all-day market event on March 9th with my daughter. Then we will be rolling into gardening season with the need to get potatoes and peas in the ground sometime around St. Patrick's Day.

I'm going to sign off now...I have the second Housemaid book on my Kindle I want to read...have an awesome week!
