Seriously...I had good intentions, but things have gotten in the way. But...they have been good things.

I'm back from my first ever driving all the way to Deadwood trip with the awesome Lynda Cox who helped me gather my creative inspiration for Imbolc, which will be Book 3 of my Wheel of the Witch series. In this one, the ancestor and the descendent have the voice of an angel and the magick of a witch. And they use that voice to unknowingly...or maybe not so unknowingly...bewitch the unsuspecting man into the throes of love. Stay tuned for more...

I have three more signings this year and I'd like to have at least one more new release for those and another in time for Christmas, so I'll be making use of the evenings after the day job to hunker down in front of the laptop and let my fingers do the story telling. If you are wondering...I'll be signing at Slow Burn Books in Garrett, Indiana on July 26th from Noon until 3 pm. Garrett is just outside of Fort Wayne, Indiana and her bookstore is absolutely amazing! Can't wait...so if you are in the area be sure to stop in. The next one will Authors Invade Scotland in Stranraer, Scotland so if you are one of my UK readers I would love to meet you there! That one takes place on August 23rd at the North West Castle Hotel in Stranraer. The last one for the year will be Readers and Writers Rendezvous in Peoria, Illinois on September 27th at the Peoria Civic Center. If you are in the area, be sure to stop in and check out the amaing line up of authors that the Book Nook in Peoria has managed to pull together for you. There is one other non-book-related event on August 9th at the Historic Hannah House on Madison Avenue in Indianapolis. It is the 2025 Historic Hannah House Paranormal Festival and both me and my daughter will be there. The only books I will have will be my paranormal ones, but we will have a lot of other things such as foraged terrariums, organic soaps and candles, and yours truly will be doing oracle card/clairvoyant readings. It's a huge event for those of you who like to delve into the paranormal side of things. Hope to see you there!

It is a beautiful sunny day here in Indiana. Not near as hot as it was the last several days. I decided to stay inside today since I spent several hours in the pool yesterday reading Carolyn Brown's Paradise for Christmas...nothing like Christmas stories in the middle of summer. Not to mention Carolyn's stories are so upbeat and heartwarming and she's one of the nicest ladies you will ever meet.

Of course, there's that other side of me who likes the psychological thrillers, so I listen to those on Audible in the car. My most recent one which I just wrapped up today was Freida McFadden's The Locked Door. Just when I thought I had it all figured out...I didn't. My jaw dropped and I sat in the parking lot at Lowe's with a dumbfounded look on my face for a few minutes before I went and took a stroll through the garden center where I bought yet some more black-eyed Susan's for my flower bed.

Well...I think I have you all pretty well caught up on things around here so I'm going to sign off for now and grab a snack before I delve in to working on one of the four books currently in progress...until next time...happy Sunday!!
