Thanksgiving Blessings

Today, we kick off the holiday season with Thanksgiving. A time to give thanks for family, friends, pets, and life in general. But don't forget all the little things that make life worth living.

I think of the years I've been involved in writing and publishing and I'm truly grateful for everyone who has supported my journey either by reading my books or standing next to me as a fellow author. So many people I've met who were strangers but can now call friends and extended family. From South Dakota to Louisiana and Wisconsin to Illinois and even Ireland and Scotland. I have been truly blessed these last 13 years. I may not have gotten rich monetarily...but I'm rich with friendships and experiences which I feel are much better. Money spends but people and experiences last forever.

We have had our family dinner and now sitting in my recliner with a fire going in the woodstove as my weather app continues to send alerts about a winter storm watch for tomorrow night into Sunday afternoon. Each alert a bit different on the snowfall prediction. I guess we will get what we get and just deal with it.

At some point this evening, I am going to get back to work on my Hope Harbor collection of stories with the intent of getting it released sometime in December. Then I can put my creativity into one of the other books I've got lined up on my laptop. So many stories...so little time...

Tomorrow, I am going to be at the shop from 10-2 doing clairvoyant readings and card pulls. If you are local, stop in at Enchanting Garden at 110 E 4th Street, Marion, IN. I will also have copies of most of my books available for the special Black Friday price of $10 each. Books make great gifts and so do gift certificates for clairvoyant readings. I'll have those available, too.

Well, I think I'll just slip into my wooly pajamas and grab an adult beverage and settle into my recliner to write for a bit. Hope you all have had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day!
