Through the years of being a published author, I have learned so many things and one of them is that the writing community is your friend. I've met some really great people and made some very great friends. And through it all, they have been so much more than colleagues in this wild world of book writing and publishing.
Today, I want to put the spotlight on my amazing personal assistant. The wonderfully talented and exceptionally patient Teresa "Tessa" Ellet Russ from Poised Pen Productions. In addition to Tessa, she has six other members of her team with over 75 years' experience in the book world.
I have been working with Tessa and her team for several years now after being referred by another one of my author friends, Tina Susedik of the Darlings of Deadwood fame and was immediately impressed by Tessa's professionalism and knowledge of the book world. What really sold me was her down to earth and friendly attitude.
I know that I can count on Tess to give me honest feedback when I send her my book chapters and she's very good at knowing the market, so when I have an idea for a book concept, she's the first person that I run to. In fact, I just did that today and got her mark of approval for a new series. But we won't talk about that today because today's post is all about Tessa and her team and her awesome book services!
In addition to Poised Pen Productions, Tessa is also the creator behind Enchanted Pen Book Covers. I have to tell you, she is not only amazing to collaborate with, but her covers are also absolutely beautiful! Most of my books that have recently released have been with covers created by Tessa and her team and several of my older titles have been given a breath of new life with new covers from Tessa.
