Holiday Blessings To All!

It's Christmas Eve and I just wanted to take a few minutes to thank everyone who has taken the time to stop by and read my blog, visit with me at signing events over the last year, and read my books. But most of all, I want to send out waves of gratitude for my family who have been supportive through my ups and downs as a self-published author. Without their support and encouragement, the first book would have never happened.

This holiday season is a time to cherish all the many blessings that have been sent down to us from heaven above, no matter how small they may seem. Because sometimes, the smallest blessing is the most valuable of them all. I hope as you gather with your own family and friends for whatever holiday you may celebrate, you take the time to savor every moment you have with them.

I have spent most of the day cooking, baking, cleaning and wrapping gifts so I am grateful for a quiet night in my pajamas with Christmas movies on the television and pizza rolls in the oven. I'll wrap the night up with a relaxing bath and don my fuzzy nightgown so that I can be rested for our celebration here at home tomorrow. Then, we will do our family gathering on Saturday at my middle daughter's house.

Once the holidays are over, I will be focusing on not just writing, but on getting our bookstore up and running. I couldn't ask for better business partners in this adventure. Our little threesome of women has such great synergy! We have so many ideas and cannot wait to open our doors to -our self-published author community and droves of avid readers.
